Macintosh Introductory Programming is an introductory programming book with examples on disk. It focuses on learning how to program, not just learning a programming language. Topics include program design, structure, development, and debugging techniques. This book is based on Mainstay's V.I.P. Ianguage in which the programmer uses a graphic, icon-based editor to construct a program flowchart that runs. A detailed explanation of resources and how to edit them with ResEdit and REdit is also given. The package includes a free V.I.P. demo disk.
